About Braided
Braided is a challah company that offers homemade challah around New York City and the Hamptons every week. Founded by Tara Satnick, Braided is on a mission to bring community together and to keep Jewish traditions alive.
How to order:
1. Place your order on the Braided website (link above) every Wednesday by 6pm for the upcoming Friday. Select either one-time purchase or a weekly subscription.
2. Select "Pick Up - Chabad West Village" at checkout.
3. On Friday, head to Chabad to pick up your challah between 8AM - 4PM.
4. Once you get your challah, please sign your name on the list provided on site to confirm you’ve picked up the order.

About Braided baker, Tara Satnick
On October 6th, 2023, I was in Israel planning to join friends at the Nova Festival. Still recovering from jetlag, I decided at the last minute not to go, a decision that saved my life.
When I returned home to New York, I wanted to do something meaningful for the Jewish community, so I began baking challah each week. What started as a simple practice grew into something bigger, a way for people to connect with tradition, their families, and the joy of Shabbat.
And so, Braided was born, a challah business that is both meaningful and delicious. Thank you for being a part of this journey.
